Objective of the Study

To detect and analyze corruption in municipal governance in Peru through the application of advanced machine learning techniques.

• Methodology: Employing tree-based classifiers: random forest, gradient-boosted forests and regression forests
• Data Sources: Utilizing datasets from the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Peru and data from the RENAMU survey.
• Aim: To enhance transparency and accountability in local governance.
